Reel Relaxing has been more than a decade in the making.
What started as an idea has grown alongside a pretty full life. I met my wife, Jillian, in college at Sam Houston, and 13 years later, we’re raising four kids—Sawyer, Rory, Bodhi, and Eastyn. Life is busy, loud, and rarely goes exactly as planned. And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We’re a family that loves a good adventure, doesn’t mind changing plans, and believes some of the best memories happen outside.
The road to launching Reel Relaxing has been a long one, but I’m grateful for that. It gave me time to build the brand the way I always imagined it—with family, accessibility, and a genuine love for the outdoors at the center.
Reel Relaxing is made for real people and real families. For getting outside, spending time together, making memories, and feeling good while you do it. Whether you’re miles offshore chasing a fish, camping in the Texas heat, hiking a mountain in Colorado, or simply spending a Saturday outside, we make clothes that are ready to go wherever the adventure takes you.
At the end of the day, we all have to work. So we figured we might as well have some fun while doing it. Take a few chances. Change plans when we need to. Get outside. Make a lot of memories.
For me, building Reel Relaxing has always been about more than clothing. It’s about creating something our family can be proud of, something we can grow together, and hopefully, something worth passing down.
